What happened to Baja Cactus' Antoņio?

Nobody answers their email, so I had to call directly to the hotel for reservations. His motel is on the back of the 2008 Baja Grande t-shirt, and I wanted to talk to him about it.

Does anyone know what has become of Antoņio Muņoz???

Ken,
For some reason, Antonio has never been good about answering his email .... The last time I stayed there I sent the email and even though he never responded, the reservation was there for me.
Giving him a call is probably the best way to reserve a room .. if you don't want to take a chance.
Some people have trouble answering their emails.
It's no big deal.
One of my best friends is like that.
He is a great guy in spite of that minor flaw.
Enjoy your stay,
Ron

I too miss his posts and monthly Pemex price postings... and he does not return my emails either... However, the phone works... and he is still the friendly amigo we know! The birthday cake for Baja Angel delivered to our Baja Cactus room last Sept. sure was a super gesture he made (via phone from Tijuana). I told him then how much we miss him on Nomad!

As you know, he has been totally envolved in two issues, besides running the family businesses: The mini mart construction and Pemex issues.

I will look forward to hopefully seeing him in 2 weeks. I will definitely enjoy my stay there. His motel and the artwork inside of the new rooms makes his accomodations the only choice in El Rosario.

I also miss his postings---I hope he gets things with Pemex all worked out. I know he was working on the idea of new bathrooms and they are badly needed.

Also, the last few trips we have found the bathrooms at the Pemex not very clean. In the past, they were ALWAYS clean.

Hotel is still one of the best.

Diane
