We just checked it out at 12 1/2 miles.

They have not yet started the work on the rest of pavement and since the workers are not there, the dirt seems to not be graded as often. Pretty washboardy.

The pavement is supposed to be done in March, last we heard, but they had better get started. Also, there are some real rough spots where they half-way repaired the first part of the paved road that washed out during last years storm.

Also, be very careful on the road out from Vizcaino. They are not filling pot holes on a regular basis like before. There are some good ones being dug out deeper by the day, shortly out of Vizcaino.

There is one really nasty big one that can sneak up on you shortly after the power plant and ejido.

A couple of small dunes have moved some on to the road---not bad. The big one is flat right now, but rough road under it and soft on the side.

Don't speed and have a great trip down.

Diane
