Especially nice, Ken. I love the gravelly texture on the right side with the texture of the sea foam on the left. Is this a new rendition of an older picture - or did you sneak off to Baja without telling me?

And Diver, I love the feel of that white sand in your shot.

Thanks to each of you.

Nena

Thanks all for the kind comments. We had stopped there for a lunch break. It is a 2007 photograph.

The photo was adjusted for levels and sharpened.

Nena,

I am running out of photos to post.................I need to go south soon!

Looks like a great place to go surf fishing, Ken. The colors really are vibrant.

Nice one, Diver. That stretch of beach reminds me of the area around laguna manuela a lot.

Diver's spot is the beach in front of El Pabellon Campground.

Great spot, camped there for years...

Haven't had a bad trip yet....

Nice photo Ken! I've surfed that place (I think it's called "Arroyo Hondo") on a big day... it was a mutha just to paddle out. (The old "five lines of white water" rule applied.) Hard bottom out there... a big rocky shelf. I've always liked that stretch of coast... maybe because that's where highway 1 finally gets close to the ocean again for a while. Thanks for the photos you guys!
