Happy Thanksgiving!

For those of you that have family here in Baja and decided not to join them this Thanksgiving because of the constant news articles about crime here should reconsider. There is crime everywhere and we are not the targets.

I am very fortunate to have both of my parents here in Baja and to have my Mexican in laws over to their home for the holidays is very special.

Please use common sense and don't drive at night.

Have a really nice holiday and be good to one another.....

Feliz Dia Del Pavo

Nice rain past two nights in Ensenada and sprinkles this morning.

My 18lb bird jumped into the oven at 9am and one of my favorite treats from kidhood, homemade applesauce, is stewing.

Great news is that 3 ceiling leaks that I hoped were repaired by my construction crew last winter are OK.

Safe travels and hope you are all having fun. My friends in Denver are expecting some snow today. :P

ALLTHEBEST

since this is under Baja Recipes, we'd better put in a recipe...

Recipe for a Great Thanksgiving
Good friends
Good food
Good drink
Mix them all together and enjoy, rain or shine.

Friends don't let friends drink white zinfandel.
