Go ahead! Try to convince me we don't live in a SICK society.
http://www.macdaddysfishinglures.com/sgadfl-001.shtml
Now that the fifty billion dollar ponzi scheme has been "discovered", I doubt than very many people will be casting these out into the rocks.

-----those that participated in the "ponzi scheme" are the types that buy stuff like that (??) I am thinking.
They represent a tiny portion of the society, thank Gawd.
How could ANY thinking person really believe that 1% a month was EVER possible, year after year?????
(if it looks to good to be true, it is)

According to my clock...anytime is \'BAJA TIME\' & as Jimmy Buffett says,

As societal sicknesses go, this one is not very high on my list.
I dont grudge what people spend their money on as much as I grudge them how they acquired it.

Has been asked before:
What has this thread to do with Baja. I am sure Slim wasn't in in the ponzi scheme, althoufg he probably has one of his own going.

Udo...its in the FISHING forum!!!
Someone is fishing for FOOLS, and there doesn't appear to be any limit!
Oso, Ima thinkin' that anyone who would buy one of those things for a key ring, might just be dumb enough to put it in their pocket!

how about the MILLION DOLLAR LURE for those Baja billfish
http://www.macdaddysfishinglures.com/million_dollar_lure.sht...
"Crafted in just over 3 pounds of glimmering gold and platinum, then encrusted with 100 carats of diamonds and rubies (4,753 stones to be exact). This
extraordinary Big Game Lure is over 12 inches in length. It’s truly the most stellar of all MacDaddy’s jeweled flies and lures!"

Ok Amigos, Does anyone else think that this little piece is OFF TOPIC, in terrible taste and inappropriate. Please let me know. I hope I am not
alone in thinking that some attempts at humor (if that is the purpose) are not appropriate in this a Holiday Season of kindness, peace and fellowship?
I for one, wish you all a fulfilling holiday season with love and joy. Thanks for a wonderful year of comments and advice.

Being mad and cynical is good, just might spark a revolution! Make the necessary changes for real peace and love and not just a make over to pretend
everything is going to be ok without taking the responsibility.
The good news is: http://www.nationalpopularvote.com/
So get on it...
And the bad news is: http:/www.overpopulation.org
And the reality is we are running out of time and it is too late so you might as well just pretend everything is ok and enjoy the time you got left!

Skip_Mac...I really don't see what is so offensive except for the gross consumerism demonstrated by the fact that there is enough market for this
stuff that they actually have a multi-page on-line sales operation.
All the best of the season, and let's try not to think too much about the hundred million oxygen generating baby TREES that have been killed and will
be thrown in the landfills in January. I mean, how many tenth century German pagans can there be among us to have made dead trees so much a part of
the celebration of Christ-mas.???
And, yes, I think this thread is destined for a limited eternity in the "under-world" of off-topic.
