Playa Balandra

We decided to take a ride out to Balandra and Tecolote. It was a very low tide so we were able to wade way out.

Found an interesting trail in the sand. Decided to prod a bit and found this very cool eel.

Mr. Eel did not like being exposed. He tried sticking his nose in the sand but got no where.

With his tail in the sand he quickly disappeared. The tide coming in soon covered his hiding spot again with water.

I think the world is run by C- students.

Playa Balandra - now you've made me homesick, BMG. Thanks for the pix; I guess they'll have to carry me through.

That eel is really cool. I've never seen anything like that alive on the beach. I think he's backing into his hole so as not to get sand in his eyes.;D
