Doug

It's freedom of speech, just as long as you don't say too much, right, Doug ?

The case of the disappearing post - isn't that what the PRI did down here for years and years and years ?

And with the swish of the Magic Wand, it was gone.

So, you will not forewarn people who are ant-Bush and anti-war that posting an advertisement on this board can be potentially hazardous to their businesses, real estate or whatever it maybe that they are trying to sell due to the character
and actions of the ultra-right ?

You certainly were not monitoring my ads, had my property not moved, no thanks to this board, I might not have even caught the hateful remarks.

Oh well, guess we all know for sure that the good fairy will ALWAYS stand by her man --sing it for us, Tami !

Case of the disappearing post/thread:

As I've noted elsewhere... you had two ads... one for rent... one for sale... and you rented the place to someone that was going to buy it.... alas... no more need for ads... and they were removed.

Case closed... no further discussion... move on.

As far as forewarning people... yada yada yada....

What are you talking about??? :?:

No, WAIT.... do NOT explain. I don't want to know.

And monitoring every post here.... HECK no. That's why we've got a "report" button here.

Alas No More Ads

Well, I was thinking of trying to sell my autographed picture of Bill Clinton, guess that would go over like a lead balloon.

And the van.....and my original Oscar Meier weiner whistle....and my Bob's Big Boy hamburger guy.....

Remember... they're supposed to be "Baja-related" ads.... so the Big Boy doesn't count unless you've got him on display atop the roof of the Rosarito Beach Hotel.

...there have been quite a number of people posting "get rich, click here" type ads in the classifieds, which have been quickly dispatched.

Tami and the weiner mobile

The last time I heard the song "Stand By Your Man" it was by Patsy Cline, not Tami. It was playing on a juke box, as I discovered I was in a Gay bar by mistake. Long story there.

And as far as the O.M. Weinie whistle goes, thank goodness something on this board HAS to be baja related to post. I do know where a complete O.M. Weinie Mobile is available to go with Maggie's whistle...perched on the roof of a ranch house, in the outback fields of Chapultepec. We pass it daily on our way to school. That would definately make it "baja related".
Great toons Randy Mac, I totally agree with Bedman's post on the subject. Keep it up.

Doug, I can assure you that we are definetly not gettin rich over our housein PB. After I pay the lease and the taxes on the income, I'm only clearing a little over $129.00 per month. That, by the way, was our retirement home, which we had planned to keep remodeling. After 9-11, we had to move back up here.

No, Randy, duh, you should've put Jack's picture in the mirror!

I want that Weiner Wagon !

And, nobody put it together...Clinton, Weiner Wagon, Bob's Big Boy..... what kind of symbols are those... what is the common element...think real HARD !!!!

Until the next attack,

Love,

Maggie

Tammy

Tammy Wynette wrote Stand By Your Man, in 1968 & it was her hit,
the latest rendition was by Elton John, which I'm sure the good old boys didn't appreciate. Are you sure it was Patsy Cline singing it? I have to look back in my old records, but Tammy made it popular, it is rated #1 popular Country Song., also poked fun at alot by us liberals.

Patsy Cline, the greatest.(Died in 1963)

Heh ! Can we have a music thread??? Kinda like Sing along with Mitch ????That would be so neat.
