precede the stuff you have now with

or

click on the icon that looks like a envelope with a stamp on it (icon left of '#') and it will do it for you.

Hope that helps.

Sorry: this url doesn't even bring up an image. It must be wrong:

seeing as this is a "how to" thread...........

how do I get a pic/graphic on my avatar? I've been trying to upload a graphic, I've posted it on photobucket, and haven't been able to get it to post. Last time I was trying to post the pic it was 160pixel (tall) by 80 pixel (wide). Is that too tall to post? I know the preferences are 150 px but at the time, it was late and I had had enough of trying to resize pics. I have actually spent a lot of time doing searches about this topic and trying uploads before posting.

I have read the posts about pictures and FAQ's, and when I had to stop trying to add the avatar to my profile (it was way past bedtime), that was the last size I tried to post.

The image needs to be no more than 130px wide and 150px tall for it to work. If the image was 160px tall, that's the reason it didn't "take".
