Petrol $$$

It's time to start thinking about my annual trek to palm canyons and Gulf beaches. It's a tough decision this year. Do I continue to vacation in Baja and worry my friends and family sick. Or do I consider someplace else in the southwest?

For the first time in five years cost is coming into play. So, what is the current cost of fuel in Baja? I need to start putting together a budget.

Thanks.

With the peso 14:1- everything in Mexico is on a 30% off sale... so why go anywhere else?! I can't believe the tourist areas like Rosarito Beach and TJ aren't over run with bargain hunters. 30% off absolutley everything!

Enjoy baja, but do keep a can of wasp spray in the car to take care of any pests you may encounter.

I had heard the dollar/peso ratio was very good. I always get pesos before I cross and seldom use dollars.

How much is gasoline?
