Could someone tell me what flights/airlines are coming and going from loreto ?

And is there any talk of any other airlines or more fights from the present carriers ?

Thanks :?:

Flights

Well-sourced rumor that Aeromexico will resume San Diego to Loreto in May 2009.

Horizon, Alaska, Aero Calafia currently fly here.

Delta, Aeromexico/Aero Litoral, and Continental no longer offer service.

And I've also heard that Aeromexico may resume a San Diego to Loreto flight.

As inconvenient as it may seem, one cannot have their cake and eat it, too. Loreto just does not have the infrastructure of resorts to warrant frequent flights. Before last year's petroleum run up, carriers were willing to fly with lower load factors. After record setting financial losses, nowhere will be served without extremely high load factors. If you love the tranquility of Loreto, you're going to have to be satisfied with infrequent, high priced flights. Even flights to Los Cabos, with their thousands of rooms were cut back. Jet fuel prices are presently lower, but that is obviously offset by the economic recession causing many discretionary travelers to reconsider vacation plans.
