Recent ferry fare from Topolobampo to La Paz
Anyone make recent passage from Topolobampo to La Paz or reverse? What is the current fare for car and for passenger in the salon?
Is the schedule from Topo still at 2300 departure?
Thanks.........Don

If no one answers before I get a response from friends that left 2 weeks ago....I will post what they say. They crossed with a full size
dodage.... with camper. they were both crying when they returned from the boleta
caja. I did not want to feel worse so, did not ask.

Here is their website.
Baja Ferries
Not sure if they keep it current, but you could call to confirm prices and schedules.

I cant even find prices on that official Baja Ferry site.
Here is the one that seems to have the most info. I believe they are middlemen in the purchase process, but their tack-on is/was reasonable. Call
them for more details; they actually answer the phone.
But the prices are still NOT reasonable for a typical full sized camper. Our long bed with a 9-4 camper is well into the size that makes it an RV.
When we checked about two years ago, it would have cost us 600.00 ONE WAY INCLUDING OUR PERSONAL FARES. It's more now...........I can understand the
tears of your friends.
Just to be certain for newbs, that's US DOLLARS.

Go to: http://www.bajaferries.com/
Put cursor on: Tarifas y horarios
Click on: Haz tu presupuesto
Click on each of the 4 sections on that page and fill in the information: Selecciona tu destino, Viajeros, Tipos de camarote, and Automóvil
The running total will show in the window as you add, delete or changes selections.

Gracias.
I think the only way I could afford this is firing up the Wrangler and bringing tents and cots.

Looks like Kate beat me to the draw again.
The website is showing a price of M$3170 for 2 people and a car from Topo to La Paz. Add M$760 for a cabana.

We made this crossing four weeks ago........
....and charged it to our Visa. The statement showed $231 USD for two people and a car.
Things are expensive, but at least we get a free trip around the sun once a year

That had to be something UNDER 5.4 meters in length.
It gets prohibitive over that.

I was considering a 45' motorhome+a 24' covered trailer. Looks like it will be close to $900.00 U.S.! Ayayayay!

We are going to drive the Baja. Was just giving some consideration to the Topolo - Ferry route for some change! Thanks for the input. Really
though, never get tired of the Baja view!

Pesos. 1 passenger and 1 motorcycle from La Paz to Topolobampo is M$1865.
The ferry to Guaymas leaves from Santa Rosalia.
