This should make things interesting
[Translated]
A Group of heavily armed men violently interrupted an explosives company at noon, Monday (17 FEB 09).
The Trituradora Cribissa company located on the freeway close to the section known as "la Curva de El Japonés", in Ciudad Lerdo, Durango.
The men shot at the building numerous times before removing an undisclosed amount of dynamite from the explosives bunkers.
A few days ago, explosives were also removed from the Trituradora de la Piedra de la Curva company.
The armed gunmen stole the type of explosive used to blast hills in a controlled manner so that the material can be removed.
The men fled to the south as quickly as they struck. The army and all 3 police jurisdictions of police (Federal, State, and Municipal) responded and
are searching for the men and the missing explosives.
The company attorneys are preparing the stolen report and complaint. It is unknown if anyone was killed or injured in the raid.
Regarding the previous theft on Saturday, February 14th, gunmen also stormed the facility trituradora de piedra de la Curva de El Japonés stealing an
undisclosed amount of dynamite.

I guess the "undisclosed amount" of dynamite was a rather large one? Good thing there's no C4 factory in Mexico. This is the Sinaloa cartel-
correcto? And this is before the DEA did it's huge multi-city Sinaloa cartel busts stateside this week. So maybe they were planning for something to
go "boom" and the DEA pulled the plug on the operators stateside? Or is that stuff just on TV.
Besides blowing Juarez off the map- or anything else in their way, what cartel target needs that much dynamite in one "boom"? What's the big deal
about these explosives (designed to blow through rock for highway building) they made multiple robberies for? You don't need to supply a weapons
arsenal that desperately and quickly without a plan in place to use them. They already have grenades and RPG's. What's left? (don't ask).
So what are the huge targets for them and why? These are narco-businessmen who are interested only in enhancing their cash flow, not crazy jihadists.
Interesting for sure bajaguy. I don't think it will take long. Downward spirals gain momentum. JMHO though.

Perhaps the explosives are intended for U.S. destinations????
To be smuggled through the "tunnels" into the states, to subversive "cells", awaiting opportunities to present themselves.

Sounds like a stretch, but Phil might have something there. Just the other day I recall hearing s radio headline about some retired FBI guy saying
that he had evidence that Al Qaeda has imminent plans for an attack in Southern Cal. Didn't hear the full story.

Maybe the US could do without Bakersdiego, but I doubt the bad guys have enough dynamite to clean up an area that big.
