Uruapan shooting.....


News at noon Channel 9 (LA) reporting police station shot up....2 people killed or injured ( if I heard it right)....

Apparently this Uruapan is in Michoacan, not the Ejido Uruapan in Baja between Maneadero and Santo Tomas.

Interesting.....TV was playing in the background behind me and I heard the words BAJA drug violence when they ran the short video.....it sounds like they tried to make it something closer than it was :O.....I will take it as "good news" that it wasn't in BAJA...:wow:

Yep, I found a story online and sounds like it was on the mainland.

It's really a nice town/city in the mountains SW of Guadalajara; but, Michoacan has been a stronghold for shady characters for years.
