Followup BOLA question--campground with internet?

Hi all,

For reasons of family business (and it's a very small one so there is little backup), I need to stay in fairly decent contact with my family when in baja.

It's been a while since I can take a short vacation but I foresee the need for one before I crawl up the wall. BOLA was a favorite and I'd like to go again.

Is there a good campground that offers somewhat of an away-from town atmosphere that also has internet access?

Thanks in advance.

DH.

Haven't used it in years but Larry and Rachels had a computer with internet and there's an internet cafe in town that we always use.

Go to http://bahiadelosangeles.info for the scoop. Two Internet places in town... I have used Lizeth's many times to post on Amigos and Nomad when we camped in the area.

Desert Hiker
I don't think any of the campgrounds have internet, but there are two places I know of in town that offer public internet access:

1) La Isla Market (just south of the round about)
2) Internet cafe - across from the Xitali (bright yellow) market.

I remember it being expensive to make a phone call from these places - not sure how much intenet fees will run you.

You may want to look into renting a satellite phone. It may end up costing the same amount and would save you the hassle of traveling into town. I've used All Roads before - they are affordable and very accomodating. Here's their site;

Good luck

Deposito Lizeth has wireless service during hours of operation. Please see this link to Mia's Bahia de Los Angeles website for details.
