Absolutely lovely, you were not lying when you said you have a photographer's view of the world. You captured so much with those pictures. Hope to
see you here again and thanks for all computer and camera chat. S

The halo is was probably caused when light was refracted by ice crystals in the upper atmosphere...
More here if your curious http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halo_(optical_phenomenon)

Thanks for the pictures, It was nice meeting you at Asuncion. Your photos are exceptionally high quality. I envy the shore fishermen that evening.
I understand they were getting halibut. I was staying indoors with two days worth of sunburn that I wanted to heal so I could go whale watching.
I want to get to see the blow hole in action sometime too. Guess I will have to go back.

I strongly recommend a visit to ibannie's blogspot , link at the end of her photos.... for an insightful, intelligent and very readable narration of a
FIRST TIMER visit to Baja. Takes me back to 1974, It may take you back as well. Her wonder, open acceptance of differences and the feeling that
possessions do not define the quality of life for residents of Baja..... precious and a nice reminder... Refreshing.

thanks!
Oh wow - thanks for all the lovely comments! We had such a wonderful time - as did doglets I still maintain that with all the beauty of Baja - its the people that really add that touch of gold to it all - and boy did we meet a
good many lovely people in Asuncion!
I will put up more pics soon - we took 12 800 in all, so have much sorting to do. A good many of them are in folders on photobucket at: http://s582.photobucket.com/albums/ss262/BajaBaggs/
And here is Allie at Asuncion..
