Whales in San Ignacio Feb

After an incredible drive with Carlos from Rice and Beans - we had an incredible experience with the whales....

Looks like you had an incredible experience, I went over presidents weekend and we got very close to the whales but never close enough to touch them... guess i'll just have to go again next year ;)

Looks like too much work.
San Diegans just wait for the whales to swim up to the Star of India, then they feed the parking meter, walk 50 feet and see the whale.

Awesoome Annie! I love the little hairs sticking up...that girl sure has a sore snout...been rubbing on too many pangas looks like...she also has barnacles on her lips...but only on her left side of her mouth because most gray whales feed scraping the bottom with their right side of their mouths which rubs off those barnacles(which are only found on gray whales).
Some whales even have an overbite....lips only a lover could love!

Oh I wondered what those hairs were! Thanks for clearing that up, Shari. I could not get enough of those whales - it was truly awesome to see them cruising by and so special when they decided to come and grace us with their presence...... quite amazing.
