Coco needs some help

See my posts under Baja trip reports for details of the over-all trip. You can U2U me for any additional information or ideas to help out Coco.
---------On a side note, while Coco was gone from his corner having
surgery, some scum bags came in and stole his solar panels, all of the
electrical wiring (to strip out the copper and sell it), 4 tires and the engine
out of his (old) truck, all of his beer, and tried to drag out his panga
(without a trailer), but abandoned it at the roadside. They took a lot of other
stuff too, including his "Guest Book" where the famous and not so famous have
been signing for years. I'm hoping that some of the folks who are off road
enthusiasts can start some kind of PayPal or similar account to help him out.
He now has 2 electric wheelchairs, both in very good condition, but has no way
of charging the batteries.--------

...and building supplies

Saw Coco 3/28 and he was in fine form, saying his legs needed some more healing but his health was good. "A couple more months of 'Short Coco' " he said, before he can use prosthetic legs for more than an hour or two at a time. In the meantime, he could use any building supplies anybody can beg or borrow and haul in. In particular, plywood, 2x4 studs, drywall screws (nails last about 10 minutes with the wind vibrating them loose) and concrete. He only mentioned these when I asked what he needed, he wasn't soliciting.

He just signed the paperwork in Catavina to keep the land in his name for the next 19 years and plans to live out his days at his corner. What a guy.

We stopped in on Coco a couple of weeks ago to drop off a care package of goodies. He looked good and was in good spirits.

After a long drive on a lot of washboard Cacawhate needed to go real bad. We got there just in time...

It sucks to be short but I can think of one advantage......

Ok Nomads, this picture is begging for a sarcastic caption. How about a caption contest with the winner getting a special fishing lure. Jill (my lovely esposa) will be the judge.

OK, how about "Coco, I know you have a tattoo of a dragon on your chest, but I didn't know you had one dragon on the ground!"

sorry, but I need a little clarification as to what needs a caption!

Is it the eco-friendly, 100% natural port-a-potty,
the beautiful lady, good-looking guy and a dustmop,
or the modern art exo-skeleton?

;D
