Pop Food Art

I bought this gorgeous organic purple cauliflower from the farmers market. I cut the leaves from it and one little fleurette fell off. I placed it on the discarded part and started playing with photos of it. this is my favorite

How could one resist?
BTW the San Jose Organic Farmers market is going strong. The produce is abundant and there are many vendors with prepared food. I had one of the best quesadilla I have ever had last saturday...homemade tortilla stuffed with carne de res, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese.
If you are in San Jose, it is a lovely way to spend your saturday morning and early afternoon. Plan to eat at one of the many food booths.

I like that first picture a lot---what fun---well done, IMHO.

And how nice to have fresh fruit and veggies available on a regular basis.

Thanks for sharing that picture!!

What beautiful vegies, Judy... and nice pix of them, too - thank you.
My local produce stand has the bright yellow cauliflower. It's a might fluorescent for my taste.;D

How does the burgundy taste compared to the white stuff?

OH NO---first there was a Purple Cow, then a One-Eyed Purple People Eater, and now Purple Chicken??

Looks like it is best cooked alone, or used for some creative photos.
