keep in mind they are called "flea" markets for a reason. I'd be very hesitant to bring anything into my home that couldn't be thoroughly cleaned and
wouldn't be likely to harbor bugs and critters.
I've been to the Chametla ones on the way to Centenario, got some dishes and other kitchen things. There seems to be several independant people out
selling on Sundays, but the big shops are open all week.
happy bargain hunting

They are closed on Mondays, they receive the Basura de Estada Unitas that day.

Two Gringos introduced us to a flea market at the cementario in La Paz. We were just talking about it the other day and darn it if I didn't already
forget what days it is held. Maybe they will chime in!

The market is set up along the side of the Panteon (take Militar south about 12 blocks) on Wednesday and Sunday. Lots of clothes, tools, food and
produce, not much furniture.
Edit: error in direction

thanks all!
i don't throw away anything... furnished our last place via craigslist and when we moved had days and days of a 'free garage sale' in front of our
condo driveway. everyone loved it. some of it, i'd picked up from others' 'trash'.
thanks for tips on bugs, etc.
