Room around Los Cabo Airport

We are going need a handicap room in this area for a day or two and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. Would like to keep the price down in the $100 - $125 range if possible. Cheaper would be better but not a dump either. Thanks

There are no hotels near the airport. You must go in to San Jose Del Cabo to find accomodations. The Tropicana on Mijares, right in the heart of town is a reasonable compromise between price and comfort. They have a pool, restaurant and bar, with parking in the back. And a ramp up to the main street. I don't know if they have specific handicap amenities. but everything is wheelchair accessible and they have walk-in showers. Last I checked, it was running about $75 a night.

There is a hotel called Carolina right in front of Soriano's that has gotten good reviews for the price(cheap but I dont remember exactly what it was). They have ground level rooms but I dont know about handicap rooms.

Tropicana is up to about $125 even with a local rate.

I am trying to think of something that would work and all I can think of is some of the big hotels like Royal Solaris, El Faro Crown Plaza which might have what you need but I fear that they are expensive

try this

Don't want to get into an argument here, but I really don't believe that Tropicana is charging anywhere near $125. that being said, the facility near Sorianas is in the middle of nowhere. On the dusty main highway. Tropicana is right in the center of town. I have no connection to them. Just believe a stay there is extremely enjoyable.

If you add the 13% tax to the room rate, you will get about $125.

I would also stay at the Tropicana before the Carolina. It was hard to tell if you were looking for near the airport or just a room for around $100.

Stay at Tropicana was definitely $125. last time a friend was there recently.

Wow! I stand corrected. Haven't stayed there in four years, although I've spent time at the sidewalk cafe. I really did pay about $75 four years ago. Also read that they upgraded furnishings and bedding.
