If you don't get through to Terry you could try Casa Leree-- another wonderful place in San Ignacio.

Both places mentioned have limited rooms. I wouldn't expect to show up without a reservation. (Except right now, it appears that many folks are avoiding MX). If, for some reason, you are unable to connect with either place, don't worry. I'd go to the Desert Inn. They remodeled the rooms in 2008. Not anything close to the Casa Leree, or Ignacio Springs, but quite comfy. Would not recommend Ricardo's (Rice & Beans) unless you feel comfy with very basic accomodations. Nevertheless, their restaurant is good.

For very basic accomodations, Hotel Posada will accept dogs. It is just a few blocks from the Plaza. Also, the newer Baja Oasis accepts dogs. So there are several choices in San Ignacio.

They were all there 3 weeks ago - have you tried their phone number (on their website). Hope the journey goes well!

Nice place to have all to yourself! If you get hungrey for a taco, do eat at Tacos Danny on the plaza.

Have a safe trip.
