Repetitious lingo

Do you SoCal folks realize that when you refer to "The La Brea Tar Pits"
You are literally saying 'the the tar tar pits'
(thanks to AWAD daily site for this)

AWAD (a word a day)

http://wordsmith.org/awad/index.html

The subscription is free.
Every morning you have a new word in your mailbox, and every week a recap of input from various subscribers.

It is a great way to start the day.
I delete a lot of stuff in the morning, never this one!!
