Amber Alert Failure: Missing TJ boy found dead in suitcase

http://www3.signonsandiego.com/stories/2009/jun/09/missing-b...

What could this 8 year old boy have done to deserve beng stuffed into a suitcase?

The last guy who called "911" was found nearly beaten to death and stuffed in the trunk of a car with a warning note to others. No Mexican wil pick-up the phone to call anyone after that threat. You can't even safely call for help in this country without someone at the Police or TelNor ratting you out. Amber Alerts aren't effective if no one calls.

It's a sick world out there. I enjoy it when the cartels blow up each other but, the murder of this kid turns my stomach.
I'm not suggesting this case has anything to do with cartels. It probably doesn't.

"They"? Sorry I was too late to check in here. Such a tragic occurrence. but it also give us an opportunity. We need a gut check and some re-education with respect to what's going on out there. Weirdos, creeps, pedos, rapists, they are among us. We need to be vigilant. The drug war thing is a whole nuther thing. That's political. When an eight year-old is treated thusly, that's about community coming together to try to ensure it doesn't happen again.

There is no forgiveness for what this man did to this young boy. If this was my son that was killed I would have taken swift action to make sure the son of a b-tch never took another breath again.

Mexicans used to handle this type of criminal on the spot without the police- just kill him. The fact that the boy was stuffed in a suitcase sounded narco-like enough, and no one dared get involved. I liked it better when Mexicans solved their own problems. JMHO

The linked story has been edited by the news service. The original story said they found a badly beaten man in the trunk of a car with the note "This is what happens to people who call "911". They didn't kill him but they didn't have to to make their point. Every paranoid Mexican already hooked on conspiracy theories now is certain their "911" calls aren't safe- wether it is true or not. Maybe someone can find the original text for you.
