Was this felt in Baja? I have been looking at property in Cabo San Lucas and was wondering about the quake.. is there any records of the last one
happening? I had no idea about earthquakes in this region (except that it is just south of L.A. and Socal) should this be a concern?

This happens occasionally, but we have never felt one ( in the 15 years we have been here in BuenaVista). I would say, not a concern...........

Didnt feel it. Quite a ways south, Dennis.
There's some discrepancies in the time of the quake listed above. One says 11:00 UTC and one says 13:00 UTC. Dont think I was up at 11 UTC.
I often think about tsunamis when I am out in the boat. Just a remnant of seeing the destruction and reading accounts of cruisers that survived that
big one over in Indonesia and Thailand. I doubt we would get a warning if one was coming. Our house is not in a danger zone, though. But, man, could
it do some damage in Bahia San Carlos.

The San Andreas fault that runs from San Francisco thru Los Angeles area continues down the center of the Sea of Cortez. And most believe that the
Sea is the result of the fault. Now the only question is, "How often and how intense are the earthquakes in this part of the fault".
