Blvd. 2000 Yesterday

Don't know if if was big enough to make any headlines, but yesterday, as we turned on to 2000 from the free road, there were at least 10 Federal Police cars and about 6 civilian cars. Several guys were being cuffed. They were divided into several groups, with cars on both sides of the road, but through traffic, at least when we got there around 10:30, wasn't being stopped.

We were at our place at K38.5 over the weekend, and every time we went by the entrance to Blvd. 2000 there were Federal cop cars there under the Cuota on both sides. Sometimes they had people out of thier cars, sometimes not. When we returned on Monday afternoon, we took the Blvd. and they were there again with some cars pulled ove but we just drove on by , didn't even look at us.

Also Yesterday, Thurs, 7/9

In Primo Tapia, there were masked cops stopping and inspecting vehicles on the free road and conducting house-to-house searches. According to locals, they were looking for the cop killers from last week.

They must have a new cookbook. Exactly the same scenario took place yesterday afternoon at the "Y" in Maeadero.

We noticed the same thing when we went down a couple of weeks ago, and I think that was before the most recent police killings.
