Save some fish for me

After checking many reports I can't resist and am passing on the north and heading to La Paz. Looking forward to the awesome bite I have been hearing about. Anyone want to suggest what tackle is working best righ now. Save me a Pacifico....I will be there soon to drink it!

Mood: Fishing for fun

we have fished successfully with live bait - it was plentiful last month and we landed mainly dorado to 60# and a lot of roosters. I love circle hooks with fluorocarbon leader and I have downsized my equipment and have had a lot of fun with 15 & 20# test but sometimes step the size of the leader.

For larger ones - wahoo for example I use yozuris and rapalas rigged with 275# multistrand steel leader. For trolling I use feathers for dorado and I carry multiple colors. Also lures that look like squid work well. If you are going for larger fish then step up to zukers.
