WoW Nice pics! I like them all. Those are the type I like to shoot too but don't have your eye for composition. Way to go. More?

Just might be the same beach.
Really like those pix, BMG---fourth one is my favorite--love the way it just moves into the photo.
Thanks!

The "flat rocks" do indeed make a nice walkway. I've never seen shells piled up so deep as they are on Diane's secret beach.

| It looks better on my computer.
Photobucket reduces the quality in the photos but I don't want the complaints about posting photos too large.

I bet it does look even better on your computer---Photobucket does reduce the quality----have not found a better alternative, yet.
Hope to see a print on the wall of your place in BA

Well done. Is that a secret beach, Sr. BMG, or do you care to share?

beach and it should be 'beaches'. As for locations, they are not near La Paz or Alameda.

The fifth image is what we call 'sea grapes'. They're green here up north. You can often find them washed up on the beaches near cannery row in
Monterey.
The fourth image is called 'Microcladia'. They're an epiphyte that grows attached to other plants very often. They're actually more common than the
sea grapes. A 2-dimensional plant, they press really well. In fact, you may consider pressing some of the algae near Asuncion - they make beautiful
designs that can be hung on a wall. No need to buy a professional press - just pile on top about 5 yellow pages.
The following is a link to Microcladia from the Cal Academy of Sciences.

those seagrapes lookes scrumptious...can I eat em? Thanks igor for the tip on drying the microcladia...i'm gonna try that...
love the photos but the last one of the oyster shell...here goes my critica...i would like to see the original or perhaps the image cropped to show a
bit more background....I am often guilty of cropping too close when sometimes it's a softer effect leaving a bit of background...lovely though.

| The background is my leg and the car seat. The blue material is denim, as in the jeans I was wearing.
So sea grapes are good to eat?

Most definitely. I would try the 1974 vintage. The upwelling was particularly good that year.
