Beauties at the Segunda in Asuncion

As I was driving by craning my neck to see what the new Segunda truck had brought....and Holy Swimsuit...I had to do a double take because I saw these skantily clad women shopping there!!!! which in our village is NOT a normal sight.

Women here swim in t-shirts and shorts or jeans...NEVER a bathing suit...so I thought...gosh, must be gringas.

When I pulled in to see...I laughed when I discovered I was right...they werent from here!!:o

Several guys nearly had accidents as they too were craning their necks to see those dames! They certainly did cause alot of commotion.

Shari,

What were you thinking not to buy at least one of them?

Our gal Val needs a BFF to hang with in Baja. We would have gladly brought Val over to your place for a playdate.

I can imagine your thought process shari ("oh my, they're not from around here...) which makes it even funnier!

Paulina, mi amiga, I haven't decided if it's funny or a little creepy that Val seems to have different outfits. Either way, she needs to lay off the Botox.

Oladulce,

Val has quite the wardrobe. She also has turned a few heads as well as almost got Dern's butt kicked one afternoon last summer.

We placed her next to our flagpole in Bahia, sporting her mini t-shirt edged with Marlin figures, my old daisy thong bottoms, a bikini wrap, red Converse Hi-tops and a hat to shade her from the sun.

From Val's vantage point on the beach she could keep an eye on the boats that cruised past. She got lots of second looks, binoculars were pulled out. Who was that hot chick at Paulina's place?

That was the same question that was asked of me when our neighbors were brought back from a day of fishing. The panguero wanted to know who my friend was.

I said, jokingly, that it was Dern's girlfriend Valentina.

I had no idea that our panguero friend had been drinking all day and was at that very moment ready to protect my position. He stared at her wide eyed, repeated after me, "Novia Dario?!"

He started to climb out of his panga, saying that he was going to take care of Dario, make him and his novia leave town, protect my place in the community. "No worry Paulina, I take care of this!"

I tried in my best Spanish to explain that Val was a manequin, not a real person, that she wasn't really Dern's novia, we just jokingly call her that.

He didn't get it and was still on his way, marching up the beach to take care of buisness. Fortunately our neighbor was able to explain to him what Val really was, that she had been standing next to that flag pole for almost a month and that my honor was still good.

Whew.

Everyone had a good laugh. I doubt that our friend even remembered it the next day. I made sure to introduce her properly from then on.

She does need nicer hair, like Shari's Asuncion Beauties. Shari, Val would have you pick the one on the right. Maybe the segunda will come back and you'll have another chance? I wonder what they would have asked for them?

Shari, you should score those girls. No kidding, years ago I tried to find a couple and they ran nearly a grand apiece...admittedly this was in Santa Monica. Maybe you should buy them and send them north to an Ebay pal who can sell them in the States. Uh, is that inanimate prostitution?

Shari,

Beachgirl is right regarding the cost of those gals. They don't run cheap. Val was a discount sale at a local thrift shop because she is challenged in the arm department. Dern brought her home for me as a Valentine gift.

If the Segunda lady doesn't want an arm and a leg for them, go for it!
