That Road

The pavement between San Felipe and Puertecitos has been done for years. The pavement south of Puertecitos only goes about seven miles. After that you are in The Tres Marias for another ten climbing boulders and then you have another 30 miles of the world's finest washboard to Gonazaga Bay. After that you have 37 miles of the world's second finest washboard to Mex 1.

Pavement to MEX 1

Nope...ain't done. Only about seven miles south of Puertecitos is paved. Then there are 40 miles of Tres Marias and washboard to GB and then 37 miles of washboard to Mex 1.

The full paving of the route between San Felipe and Mex1 will take at least two years in my opinion...maybe never.
