We paid $40 per person for about seven hours on the boat. The boat captain brought the bait....we brought our own drinks and snacks.

How many people, Geoff? Isn't there a standard price for the boat? Up here, I think Ivan Villarino is up to 145 bucks for around five hours.
Just curious.

We had two boats with six people on one and five on the other. I am not sure if we were paying by the person or by the boat though....

Thanks for the report, Geoff. Thanks for gracing our house.
I think the standard rate is about $160 per panga, and the $40 per is about right, including Mexican licenses, rigs for those that did not have them,
tip, cleaning, etc. Greg may have got us a deal, as he knows those guys. If you go with non Castros, or it is a slow day, you can bargain. Had a
great time with you y Los Monos.
I think you missed the nekkid surfing (there are pictures, but what happens in Baja....). I know the boys were impressed by your surfing skills the
first day you went South with them, so, I guess, they had to come up with alternative styles.
Best part of the fishing day was when my son Graeme caught his first ever Yellowtail. On a freshwater bass rig with 15 pound test, with frozen squid,
and only because El Capitan said to him, "Arriba!", meaning there are no fish here, lines up!. And the fish just HIT it as he was reeling in as fast
as he could. Almost lost the pole, and took him 20 minutes to get it in. It was about 15-20 pounds. Sweet!

I had forgotten about the yellowtail since it happened on the other boat! It was a great looking fish!
Nekkid surfing huh? My gut is telling me that I am glad I missed it! Hehe.
