It's the QUANTITY of killings that are the issue, Howeird...not that killings occur. A Mexican NGO just put out a report that listed Tijuana as the 4th deadliest city in the WORLD, with 73 deaths per 100,000 population. Juarez is number 1. So Mexico has two of the top four cities. By the way, Baghdad is ranked 10th.

Oxnard is Cholo City and its murder rate is not even 1/10th of Tijuana. You need to learn how to work with numbers. Let's say you are forced to put a revolver to your head and pull the trigger. Befoer you do it, you are given two choices: 1 bullet and 5 empty chambers, or 5 bullets and 1 empty chamber. What's your choice?

Actually, Nancy, you just made my point, albeit snidely. this thread started about a single body possibly washing ashore near San Felipe. What that has to do with the murder rate in TJ or Juarez was exactly my point. Nothing. It was random and isolated.

Ye gads, Howeird. You are just a schmuck with a computer who will say anything. How in Hell do you know it was random and isolated? Where is your research? What are your sources? How many others have occured in the last year? Mr. Zero credibility.

The dead guy with the coup de grace bullet in his head floating in the sea had a tattoo on his body that says, "Sinaloa". San Felipe has become a major transhipment point for drugs heading for the US. They come by boat across the SOC and then by dirt roads up to the border. Just last week they busted a Ministerial Policeman in San Felipe with 7 kilos of cocaine. He was a courier for the drug trafficers. By the way, they don't grow cocaine in Baja, in case you didn't know.

I have an idea Howeird. Why don't yo ask some of the regulars here who live in San Felipe how many Gringo houses have been broken into? I know of houses that have been broken into 6 - 8 times already. All random, isolated incidents.

I have always believed that this forum was designed for light-hearted banter as well as important information. That being said why anyone seeks to hijack it to espouse personal attacks, is beyond me. I am far from the only one who has been ridiculed and attacked by this arrowhead person. I have never met arrowhead. As far as I can recall, I have never made a personal attack on arrowhead, here or anywhere else. In fact, with the exception of some old off-topic posts where I felt sexisim and racism were being involved, my primary involvement here has been one of information and humor. I invite anyone to thoughtfully read this thread and come to the conclusion that I posted anything mean-spirited.

You may want to try to explain your way out of these five posts where you called me "Nancy".

Go back and look at them. See if you can find where I called you a name first. You owe me and this board an apology for your unrepentant name-calling and lying.

Well howodd, can you explain your statement, "As far as I can recall, I have never made a personal attack on arrowhead, here or anywhere else" in light of this post of yours?

You are a big instigator here.

It was reported on San Felipe Net Site that there was a body of a man washed up onto the beach with a gunshot wound to the head, thought to have been shot & dumped from a Panga out in the sea. Since then the Net Site has been shut down(due to other problem)so have nothing further as yet about this.Except it was reported to be at the El Cortez Hotel beach.

Yeah...WOW...You've opened it up now.
From here on out, you'll be blamed for starting something on Nomad.
Actually, it's an art....starting something here other than trouble. You've done well, Nancy. Be proud.

Nancy,
Don't pay any attention to those who can't get along, it sometimes gets amusing, distressing and irritating all at the same time. There are a few here who you will learn to stay away from because they seem to jump on anyone they want to, on any given day. Don't let these FEW chase you away. Welcome to Nomads, there is a lot of useful information here. Connie
