I want to catch a big fish

Need some expert fishing advice. I will be taking a waverunner trip to the Gonzaga area in a few days and want to troll for some big fish behind the waverunner. I have limited fishing experience so need some advice on line, lures, technique etc... Thinking about trolling in the area around the enchanted islands.

We use 50# braid and troll with mirro lures in pink, orange and green, we have caught grouper, yellowtail, bonito, barracuda, sierra and many others on this. Wish you lots of luck & I would like to catch a big one too.

Do you have pole holders on that waverunner? You'll need 'em. I think 50lb test is overkill but...ya never know.

No nutsy, it is not photoshop, that is a real baja grouper that was caught on the north end of San Marcos Island on a live caballito.

Actually, it was tied up to the rack with a rope. I was just standing next to it.

Man, this is a tough crowd. OK, here is a pic that was taken when we put the thing in a wheelbarrow to take it over to the scales to see what it weighed.
