San Felipe Home Show

There will be a Mexico Living Home Show in San Felipe on Saturday, November 14.

Several Baja authors, including Graham MacIntosh, Tom Gatch and myself are scheduled to speak. If in the area, drop by to say hi.

Just to be clear, Geoff... You have two booths (one at San Felipe and one at Point Loma)?

Yes.......Jennifer and I will be in San Felipe at the Mexico Living Home Show.

Hank and Yara will be here at the Mexico Promotional Event that Ted is putting on.

It is a shame they both fell on the same day.....I would like to have been at both of them.

The Home Show in San Felipe went well....we met a lot of really nice people from the area and got to see some fun stuff too. As expected, Greg, Graham and Steve (Dryden) had the biggest crowds for the presentations. Graham had more one liners than open mic night at the Improv! Here are some pics from the weekend...

Jen from Baja Bound and Lory from Perfect Adventures at La Rumorosa

Almost there!

Some of the outdoor exhibitors

The Baja Bound booth

Bernie from Baja Country Club

Rachel Pack from Mexico Living Guide and 'Calle'

Melodie from Sea Of Cortez Salt - This stuff is delicious!

Mr. Greg Niemann presenting

Bill and Carol from San Felipe Homebuilders

Graham 'one liner' Mackintosh keeping the crowd in stitches

Valle de los Gigantes

My huevos rancheros

San Felipe harbor

Heading north to Mexicali

Just before crossing at Mexicali we saw some Dia de los Muertos decorations still up.

I don't think that the border display was for Dia de los mertos. If you looke carefully there were also a few very large canvases that showed the border patrol beating the snot out of Mexicanos.
I think this is a political message to the gringos of how the locals feel about the walls being built and how they are dealt with by the border patrol.
Just my 2 centavos

Interesting......I didn't see the banners....I was doing the driving!

I will be going through there again on Saturday and will look for the canvasses.

Thanks CortezBlue!
