Frequent crossers, two cars?
Just wondering if it is all feasible to keep a car in TJ, park on the US side and walk across. Seems like a great time savings for frequent crossers.
In the Virgin Islands I kept a truck on St John simply because the ferry was so time consuming. It's common for people living on smaller islands to
keep cars on St Thomas or Puerto Rico. Does anyone do this here?

Hmmmm... to leave property behind in Mexico when you come back to the U.S. requires you to have an FM-3 (or 2) visa (legally). The border wait isn't
all that much of a deal... an hour or two out of a 72 hour or longer vacation... So, comparing Baja to an island because of the border wait probably
isn't the same time hassle.
I would guess a lot of gringos keep cars down in Los Cabos, East Cape or La Paz and fly to those places... being around 1,000 miles south and saving
themselves a 2-3 day drive... from San Diego... more from further away.
Look at the 10,000 or so posts about 'FM-3' to see if you are ready for that!

OK I get it, probably not worth it. Honestly I was expecting to hear "If you leave a car in TJ, don't expect it to be there when you get back"
