Recetas De Lola
½ LB. Lentils
6 Cups of Water
¼ LB. Ham
1 mild chorizo
½ lb cubed potatoes
1 leaf bayleases
½ lb banana squash (substutitions allowed.. carrots, celery and onions)
¼ tsp ground cumin
¼ tsp ground oregano
1 ½ tsp salt
1 medium onion
1 med. Bell pepper
2 cloves garlic
¼ cup oil
Just had this today, nice soup for another rainy day.. found the recipe on the bag the lentils came in... not bad at all

So tell me I'm being cranky. The soup looks great. Undoubtedly tastes great. But I do have one question. If you are going to put 1/4 pound of ham and
a whole chorizo in it, why in the world would you also need to add salt?

if you don't want it... don't put it in.. as stated the recipe was on the bag the lentils came in...
you can put what ever you want, and called it what ever you want (some do that), however, why not direct you question and/or concerns to the maker and
the individuals who made the label and put it on their product.. here is their address

Quite frankly I happen to like salt and lots of it, and my blood pressure is just fine...

That would be celery, one of the "trinity"... yes, it wasn't bad. The wife was going to make "Mediterranean Lentil Soup" which is also a favorite (if
you have never tried this, go try it now!!), but, she saw the recipe on the bag, and told me it has "chorizo" as an ingredient in this lentil soup!!..
so why not... and there you have the rest of the story
