Smoked Turkey and Bacon

This is what I do while smoking a Turkey on my Weber.... lay some bacon strips on top and eat as an appetizer. Unbelievable taste - using apple wood for the smoke... yeah!

Hey Bob, where do you get that great bacon?

Lera, I think it's Farmer John's - it's usually on sale too! We got lucky and picked up a great slab last time. It's really yummy off the turkey (with apple wood smoke). Your guests will be amazed at the presentation! Ha ha.

Just finished a BLT. It is all your fault!
FYI the Kirkwood bacon at Costco is pretty tasty.
