$300 dollar fishing charter Puertecitos

Charter is $300 per day and we can take 4 fishermen, or divers out for the entire day. Cost includes Captian (Naty), fuel for the day and launch
fees. You need to bring your own Mex license and gear.
Natys direct cell # is 011-52-1-686-116-3814. The cell coverage south of San Felipe is bad so if there is no answer leave a message and phone number
so he can call you back.
We also have a REAL dive compressor for filling tanks that is new. No tank rentals but we can fill your tanks for you now!
We can provide transportation from San Felipe to the launch ramp in Puertecitos and back also.
Hope to see some of you guys in 2010.

Whats up guys. Looks like I broke a rule and posted my posts on the wrong thread area. I like to post up every now and then to remind everyone we
are still in business after 7 years of running charters in the area. Sorry for breaking the rules.
We get White Sea bass, Yellowtail, spotted bass, leopard grouper, gulf grouper, triggerfish, bonefish, halibut, and various snapper. Depending on the
time of year the fish may vary. the colder months support the snapper and WSB while the warmer months favor the yellowtail and grouper.
Depending on what you use and how good you are, you get mixed results.

Hmmm, I don't see one single rod holder or tank rack.
Where is the seating for 4 divers or fisherfolks ?
Is there a dive platform ? That's a long step over the transom.
And no electronics ?
Outriggers ?
I hope you are planning more improvements for $300 per day.
And get rid of that silly bimini; it's in the way for diving or fishing either up or down.

Thanks for the post. If you look at the last picture in the set you can see two of the four flush mounted stainless steel rod holders. You will also
notice that they are both set at different angles for trolling. We have a removable ladder that attaches to the side so you can climb in and out,
however are customers usually get in with out the B/C on. They float them and we pull them in over the side. The ladder comes off for transport.
The mounts were not installed at the time of the picture. We deploy into the water via backwards roll in.
Our Humminbird 3D side scan was not in any of those pictures either. To be honest the digital maps of the islands where we guide are all wrong and
the graph/GPS that we installed turns out to be not so great. We fish and dive the same mounts, drops, reefs and coves that we have always fished and
dont really use electronics unless we are trying to give numbers to one of our spots.
The bimini is in the way. I agree. But a T top does not provide enough protection from the sun. The way it is attached we work around it with
really no problems. I have never had someone complain about the bimini...but if you dont have one you will hear all day how we need to get a sun
shade. I had another rig with a T top and would hear "that thing dosent really shade you much huh..." Its a new top I have now and its mounts are
secure so you can have the shade up when you are full crusing speed to the islands which is about 45 minutes away from the launch.
Seats: one in front of the bow facing back, one next to the captian, two facing backwards. In one of the pics you can see the backwards facing seats,
the cushion was removed at the time.
Also there is a VHF radio with a great antenna. We can reach puerto penasco from Puertecitos from our boat.
remember something about where we go. It takes 40 bucks in fuel just to get the 100 bucks of fuel to the the boat. throw in 15 bucks for launch
fees, +taxes, and insurance (govt required if you want to be legal) and then you still have boat upkeep. Then there is me and my partner and I guess
we split the 100 bucks profit for the day....but because I get other work as well he keeps most of it usually.
With our new dive compressor we are the best equipped, most qualified guides in the area.

I got into that work being a guide and I suppose when it dries up I will end up being a guide. Been getting lots of dive jobs filming for TV but my
partner Naty is still down there everyday with the boat where it all began. I want to make sure our little charter company stays healthy so when all
the TV people decide to stop using me I still can make money on the water.
Besides, for all the places I have been in the world, Baja is still the best.
I hear ya on the T top but Im skared of the sun. I shoot jigs off the bow and stern, slow drag baits and lures off the stern. Tried the other ways
and now I just go for the theory the more shade the better.

Dale - i agree - the Bimini is fine and i'd rather have shade than the T Top which only helps the angler with rocket launchers or boat driver for his
shade.
i better plan on getting over there as soon as it warms up.
Note to fishbuck - go fishing with Dale, he's very good and you can land your Piper there he'll pick you up and take you to the Coral Castle by
enchanted islas.

I would still consider letting customers of yours use the Castle. Others are on a interview basis. The last ones left dead fish in my fridge and
then turned off the electricity and went home.
It took alot of bleach to clean the smell out of the fridge.

i really don't have any so it's not anything i'd pursue - but the opportunity to hang out there with you someday will be a real treat and experience.
i always figured that's where you put up your spear fish clients. from the old website info and pictures.

That was the deal. I ran the fully guided trips for years. We stayed at the castle. But with things going the way they are I opted for renting out
the place to customers and chartering the boat out. That way I can go make more money as an U/W camera man and guide to the TV people. Now with
people in my place when Im not there they take more liberty. I guess I need to take deposits for cleaning and such and then I would not be so bummed
when something happens. It makes it easier for people to just rent out the place and the boat without me making them pay for a 5 day all inclusive
trip. Times are a chaingin so I got to also.
I may start the fully guided trips again but only if the TV stuff stalls.
As far as me and you go... Mi casa Su casa...just PM me if you ever need to use it.

maybe i should donate one and drive it down. Beer can would let me keep it at his place.
i need to talk to you about my D/I dry air coolers use only 600 watts but don't mind humidity. i.e. - air conditioning at swap cooler prices.
we'll do a trip this spring.

Mike,
I am very interested in the air conditioners. The ones I have now require I run the generator and I hate the noise.
The strip is only about 1/2 mile from my house.
I have my partner Naty, he can pick people up from the strip and bring them to the house no problem.

ok - i'll send you some data on reg email. the stuff works at 1/10th the elec of a regular compressor with fan coils.
think 600 watts instead of 6000.
