Felt here on the SoCal coast. Looks to be about a 5.

With several aftershocks...


...quake map shows the 'shakers' just a bit SE of Mexicali....5.8 initial - I'll bet it got their atterntion!:o

Nomads are amazing! desertcpl had it here an hour before CNN and had better facts.........CNN reported that the quake was 2 miles deep.

The area is known to be seismically active and is interconnected with the Southern end of the San Andreas fault. Now, we can look forward to renewed interest in when the "big one" will hit Southern California
