Fly or Drive? (Part 2)
I'm flying!!!
A 4 hour airplane ride was a grueling 15 hour drive over 2 days.
It was a fun trip but...
Tomorrow I go to Brown Field in San Diego and fly my beautiful Cessna 182. I'm warming up for a trip. To San #$%^& for fishing.
My beautiful Cherokee 6 is down for a paint job.
Thank god I have a back up plane.
I just hope my fishing rods will fit. And my cooler!
I could use a "copilot". You know... like Pompano has!

Talk to Captain Mike. If you own two planes you could be partners in Screaming Airlines and shuttle people down and back to fish and have fun.

I don't "own" any planes yet. "My" planes are rentals.
1970 whatever C-182. It's got a Garmin!
And a Piper Cherokee 6. 1960 whatever... but very tough.
Perfect Baja planes.
But I will buy a plane to go with my SanQ place. I have my own runway. I gotta have a plane!

Hey Fishbuck. Did you stay at the little 4 room hotel on the beach? Nice place in the middle of nowhere! Those are some tough yellowtail. I've been
rocked more there, than anyplace I have ever been. One of my relatives by marriage handlines those things with 100lb mono, on a hand board. Awesome to
watch. He outfished me 2 to 1, while my wife laughed all day. Does the same thing on the huge squid. A 10 inch long, 2 inch wide strip of fresh squid
will kill those fish when they are suspended. Have a great time. Fly if you can. I've done that drive in one day a few times. I guess I am getting
old, but it takes it's toll on me!

beach here yesterday...
