A few Storm Related Pix

Finding safe harbor

Flying backwards from the wind

The pelicans were crazy in the little bay trying to land, feed and ride the waves.

And the cormorants were also acting wild and crazy

Between the rain

Late afternoon before the worst of the storm

and a quiet sunset before the worst night of the storm.

.

Thanks for looking

These images are fantastic! The ones of the birds would make great jigsaw puzzles!

Thanks to both of you.

My favorite is #3, the pelicans and their shadows on the water.

After a day of partial light we're getting set for another many days of rain. Perhaps I'll print out that picture and make it into the suggested jigsaw puzzle to keep me favorably occupied.;D

nena

(edit: oh wait! Perhaps those are cormorants and not pelican shadows. Ah well, it's a great shot anyway.)
