NEWER PET FRIENDLY BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN LORETO

HOLA, WITH THE PROBLEMS IN NORTHERN BAJA, IF ANYONE HAS A NEED FOR A GREAT PET FRIENDLY BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN LORETO:

APPX. 100 YARDS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE STREET.

HOLA, MYSELF AND DIFFERENT FRIENDS HAVE STAYED AT HOTEL ANGRA IN LORETO AND IT'S THE NEWEST AND NICEST BOUTIQUE HOTEL WITH RATES BETTER THAN THE OTHER BIG HOTELS. HOTEL ANGRA'S ROOMS ARE SUPER SPACIOUS AND EXTREMELY CLEAN ( NEWER ) WITH KING SIZE BEDS, SATELLITE TV, WIFI, AND THE MOST WONDERFUL AND ACCOMODATING ENGLISH SPEAKING HOSTS. LARGE SECURED PARKING AND A COFFEE SHOP. THE LOCATION IS VERY QUIET AS WELL. A DEFINITE 10 ++ OVERALL, THERE IS NO COMPARISON ! TWO STORY WITH DOME AND ARCHED ENTRYWAY. NO VERY HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES DUE TO ARCHED ENTRY Ana Carranza, ana.carranza@hotelangra.com, www.hotelangra.com Phone: 6131351172

I REALIZE MOST VAGABUNDOS MEMBERS ARE PULLING TRAVEL TRAILERS OR HAVE RV'S. HOWEVER, SOMETIMES THERE ARE PEOPLE IN A CARAVAN THAT DO NOT HAVE SLEEPING ACCOMODATIONS. AS AN ALTERNATIVE, HOTEL ANGRA WOULD BE THE PLACE TO STAY. BIEN SALUD, JAMES H

According the Tripadvisor, average rate is $61 us per night. In looking at their website, I find it curious that the graphic depicting the hotel makes it appear the be really big- like the size of Hacienda Suites. But, they say they are a 12 room hotel with only six finished and available rooms. They are listed on Tripadvisor under B&Bs.

Edit because I just noticed directions refer to El Nido. Hasn't been El Nido for at least two years. It's Domingo's Place. Just in case a Loreto newbie was looking for this place.

Hola bajahowodd, thanks for catching the oversight. perhaps the easiest direction would be the hotel is one block northerly of the big pemex on salvaterra.

six of the twelve rooms are completely finished and furnished and six are in need of furniture.

sorry about the caps but i did a copy and paste from another posting.

I just stayed at the Angra and recommend it highly. I live in El Juncalito south of Loreto, no electricity/tv and wanted a spot to watch the World Cup early Tuesday morning. I'd watched the Angra being built but had never looked at the rooms.
GOOD CHOICE! six spotlessly clean new rooms, furnishings, WIFI, individual minisplits, and gated off street parking. there's a 'light breakfast' included but I didn't try it, just some tea. the rate was 670 for one or two people in two queen beds. there are six more unfinished rooms upstairs, like everyone else, they are struggling in the poor tourist economy...when things improve they will open the others.

reality\'s never been of much use out here...

Does anyone know the name of a good kennel I can board my dog at for a week while I go on vacation for a week? I was thinking Dr. Rico in Ensenada.
What do you guys think?
