The Real Baja
I hope some things never change
camping at San Ignacio in town by the river - I was the only one
and the whales need Baja too
Exploration still beckons
and sometimes you get lucky and a hummer will let you peek
and of course the vultures are always lurking

your trip looked wonderful....I would love to see your pics bigger though. We usually camp at the same spot in San Ignacio...only problem for me is
that those big frogs sing loudly all night long...in summer anyway...were there frogs singing there now?

Good job Wilderone... You seem to have the Photobucket to Nomad thing figured out. If you want to make them a bit bigger, re-upload at the 'Large'
setting instead of Medium.

Yes, the frogs sang, but wasn't a problem. In the morning I first smelled baking bread and later a wood fire - kinda homey. It was quiet at night,
but traffic on the street into town started before sun-up! A small town, but for some reason, a lot of early morning traffic. Still not really a
problem though - I'd do it again. Big variety of birds there too. They're still working on hurricane damage - some uprooted date palms, and the
trail along the river isn't cleared yet. Charged me 80 pesos.

A true oasis in the desert. I have always just driven by in the past. Next trip I will slow down and spend some time there. Great reflection shot,
thanks!
