Without naming the company, the government of Tijuana, in Chihuahua, reported that an automotive firm will invest $17 million in the border city, which will be paired with works to span 42 kilometers of concrete for 20 years. This announcement was made during the first Tijuana Innovation Gathering 2010. This urban center is one of the top manufacturing locations in the country, despite high insecurity indexes due to drug-trafficking.
