Bye Baja
Well we have been in Baja for 5 weeks and have enjoyed every minute and mile. Left Bahia de Los Angeles yesterday and headed north, kind of sad but
will be back next year. We are really amazed at the lack of tourist all over, Bahia was almost empty and Daggett's wasn't a third full. It's been a
great trip and can't wait to come back, so those of you who read this don't be afraid of all the negative publicity that the news media offers and
come to Baja and enjoy.

that is not nice
lots of us live off the tourist. When you have 18 employees and there familes that live from it. We really need the tourist. so go home and tell
everyone how great it was and how safe you felt.
Thanks for speading the word. Baja needs good reports

I'm glad that you had a good time in Bahia. I'm sure that it was pretty quiet during the time that you were there. Give it another week or two and
hopefully the Semana Santa crowds will start to pour in to help out the economy down there.
I wish I were able to go this year.

Part of me agrees with acadist and likes less tourist. The other part understands where you come from and the need for tourist. I was down for the
SF250 race in San Felipe a week ago and on Thursday evening I just walked into the steak house and was seated for dinner. Friday with all the people
arriving I had to almost muscle my way into club Miramar for a drink it was so crowded. I'll have to think about more tourist a little longer.
I was amazed however at some of the poor service at some places and I'm not talking about over flow crowds. I was very disappointed with George's
resturant and Rice and Beans.

Bob ... really wonderful that you had such a nice visit in BOLA ... have you ever been further south ? might I suggest Campo Rene, La Bocana with a
quick stop at Punta Abreojos to look at their beautiful malecon ...
We have a B & B here in La Bocana and we now also offer trailer hookups. Camping on the beach is free, fishing is great from Aug to Dec., surf
good Dec - Feb, wind and kite surfing good Apr - Dec
Bird watching all year at Campo Rene
Surfing all year at Punta Abreojos
Great restaurants and locals in Bocana

Hope to see you one of these days

Rice & Beans
Kinda interesting that down in San Ignacio, the same seems to have happened. Ricardo's Rice & Bean restaurant is seemingly not close to what I
remember a few years ago.
