Stolen Dog - Abby

This was posted by Lynn Hamman on her Loreto News site today. I really feel for this dog's owners!

"One of our campers has had his dog stolen this morning around 7am from the road leading into Juncalito Village. He was just out of sight of her, but heard a car speeding away.

She is a spayed female Doberman
Answers to the name of Abby
Has long ears, Very trim built & friendly
Less than 2 years old"

Patty Noyes pattysopal@hotmail.com

This is such a rotten thing for someone to do...especially during "Holy Week". Maybe some Nomad eyes and ears can solve this one. Caray!

Ooooh, how sad! My previous dog was named Abby. I can't imagine something like this happening to anyone. I hope they find the perps here, and recover Abby ... dang.

Hire one of those guys with the speaker on his car to announce a reward for the return of your dog. Someone's neighbor in Loreto will turn them in if the reward is large enough. 50.00 US is probably large enough.

Hand bills posted around town cant hurt either.

Years ago, Gypsy, my lab was stolen from my kennel trailer. I posted a large reward in local newspapers, flyers, and also an announcement on a friend's radio show..Swap and Shop.

It worked. I got a tip to check out an out-of-state hunter's shack and there she was...engaged in retrieving ducks for a dognapper with a soon-to-be busted jaw. He never came back..which I always regretted.

Gypsy was then with me until she died at age 15.

These burros deserve the same treatment.
