BAJACAT'S BAJA ADV.PART#1


Afther a long planning and preparation, with a truck load it with goods & bikes for La Bocana kids, new nomads to meet, we left San Diego @ 3:30pm on sat-20.never imagin that will log more than 1500 Baja miles in 7 days.the plan will be reach El Rosario stay at BajaCactus, rest for the long drive the next day.It's great to be a nomad, we reach El Rosario @ 9:30 200 plus miles later.Antonio(Bajacactus) was there, I whent to say Hi and talk to him a little bit, we talk about the pass Rosario festival,, and then we pick a room to my surprise he tells the clerck "THEIR ROOM IS ON THE HOUSE",what it's free,, again is great to be nomad Antonio is a great guy he didn't have to do that you know, but im glad he did..:tumble:

A MUST STOP CARMELITAS I PLACE A BAJANOMAD STICKER. ON THEIR WINDOW, I WAS SURPRISE IT DIDN"T HAVE ONE ALREADY


hAD BREAKFAST @ MARIO"S IN GN WHERE A PLACE A CALL TO BLANCA TO MEET ME @ THE TURN OFF TO ABRE OJOS.IT WAS 11:40 AM 400 MILES LATER.


WE FINALLY REACH THE TURN OFF TO ABREOJOS AND MEET BAJABLANCA AND HUSBAND LES, WE WHERE GREATED WITH HUGS AND BIG SMILES, WE TRADE IT THE LOOT TALK FOR A WHILE AND THEN CONTINUE DOWN MEX 1 TO BAHIA CONCEPCION, THE OFFER WAS MADE TO US TO VISIT LA BOCANA, WICH WE DID ON A LATER DAY..



WE ARRIVE @ BAHIA CONCEPCION AROUND 4:30 PM SUNDAY 25 570 MILES LATER


nOT ALOT PEOPLE @ COYOTE, 80% OF THE PEOPLE WHERE FROM CANADA. WE WHERE THE ONLY 2 MEXICAN FAMILIES IN COYOTE BAY...



WE GOT HEAVY DRIZZLE AT NIGHT,:?:


WE STAY @ BC FROM THE 21 TO TH 24TH. PART # 2 WILL HAVE LORETO VISIT AND SAN JAVIER MISSION.. STAY TUNED..

Ahhhhhh, nuttin' like a Dodge on the beach in the morning!!!:cool:

Looks good amigo. My paint has sooooo many Jeep scratches on it, it don't stay shiny long.:lol:

Kurt, don't think i forgot about you and kathy, you are coming up on the trip report to La Trinidad... it was nice mitting you and her...

Sharks, my truck has so many paint stripes you have to get close to see them i do follow jeep trails, thats what RAMS do...

DK Antonio is a realy a nice guy.. BajaCactus is a must to all Baja travellers, not because it's A nomad Bussines, it's because i think it's the best place to stay in El Rosario..

jeez Did you take a course in photography ????? these are so beautiful ... makes you want to jump in the truck NOW and go somewhere in Baja ... and we are already here !!!!

concepcion has some of the most gorgeous color water in the world - as nice as Hawaii or Philipines or Carribean :))))))))

you must be PROUD of your country Jose
