La Cantina Mexicana

Finally had a chance to try this one, located in the Marina Costa Baja complex in La Paz. We ordered two appetizers, the first one took a long time for traditional Mexican food, it was the tacos sudados, four tacos with different fillings Mexico city style. The tacos where ok, nothing special. We waited for the other appetizer, the sopes, but to our surprise our entrees arrived first. I asked the waiter what happened with our appetizer, and apparently someone forgot about it. There was 3 tables in the restaurant.

For the entrees, we ordered a Molcajete Mexicano, and my brother got a pecan crusted chicken. Again the food was ok, but if you put aside the nice presentation, not better than what you can find in a taco stand. Prices where reasonable, food was ok, service was not very good.

In my opinion, if your Mexican, or know your Mexican food, this one isn't for you.
