You get a better exchange rate at the Casas de Cambio on san Ysidro BLVD.

Once you exit the 5 or 805 proceed to San Ysidro Blvd. Head South and they all are in competion with one another. The best day of the week is Tuesday
or Wednesday. Dont ask me why but the Dollar always seems to be strongest on those days. All Casas proudly display thier exchange rates outside on
signs.

We just use Costco the rate might not the best but the differance is so minimal and its real convenient.

Pretty inconvenient standing in their long lines at the Costco cambio - aside from the restrictive hours. We switched.
Baja-Mex cambio on San Ysidro Blvd is open 24 hours, slightly better rate, closer to the freeway & no lines. You can buy a taco or hotdog next
door.

castaway$ we need to do the math
2000dollars/11.8=23,600 pesos
2000dollars/12.0=24,000 pesos
differance= 400 pesos
thats $33 bucks just for chosing the "right" place
