FM3 renewal

Anybody know if the paperwork for FM-3 renewal can be obtained at the Mexican Consulate in San Diego?

I downloaded the FM-3 form and checklist from the Mexican Cosulate in San Diego.
http://portal.sre.gob.mx/sandiego/index.php?option=displaypa...

We have it all filled out and just got our passport pics today. We plan on going down on Monday to get the Visa. I can give you an update monday evening if you want.

Yes you can, I got my first one there.

Also, there is a place across the street for photos.

Plan on picking up the finished visa the next day.

Hold on to your paper work, as you will need to submit it to Immigration when you reach your destination.

They are seperate entities.

I am confused! I thought the FMT, FM2, FM3 were going to be replaced with the new FMN visa starting tomorrow, May 1. Anyone have an update on this?

My understanding is that they will not be issuing them from consulates anymore.

Our FM3 expires in June and we are wondering about renewal with the change????

We e-mailed our agent in La Paz and asked him, but he has not responded so not sure if he knows yet.

Hope anyone who renews after May 1 posts if there is any thing different??????

Airmech, just checked the consulate's website and they say no renewals are done there. I figured we'd have to actually DO the renewal in Rosarito, but was just wondering if they have the forms at the consulate in San Diego. I'll try to give them a call, but you know how hard it is to get an actual person these days!

Some people here in SF that have applied for renewals are having their paperwork held up now pending the new Fmm. They seem to have no idea at IMM how soon they will be getting them out?:?::?: Another waiting game in Mx.

Requirements the same, not issued outside of Mexico, FM3 will be plastic card now...not cute green paper book with ghastly photo (ghastly photo on card now?). Not sure about FM2.

When is El Dia de los Muertos?:?:
