Weekend at La Fonda

We enjoyed this past weekend with family and friends at La Fonda. Yes, its getting shabby, and yes the food could be better, but we all had a great time. The Sunday buffet is still a good deal and it was SRO.

I hauled down a truck load of pallets, no problems at customs for bringing "lumber" down. ;-)

I might have had one on in the bar on Saturday night, i'm just not sure!

The house band Sat night was a well rounded group. From Procol Harem's "Whiter Shade of Pale" to awesome Cumbia's and everything in between. Lot's of fun!

The image of the mother and child lit by what I assume to be firelight.... a lovely portrait that is, Ken. Will you be making and framing a print for the portraitees? I know I'd want one if I were that mom.

Looks like you attended a gathering of the mellow tribe.;D
Nice of you to share the adventure with us.
